  • Cecelia Viteri writes: "the bridge was built around 1920 over the Kickapoo Creek, Henderson County Texas, near a now defunct rural town of Opelika. My great-grandfather's farm bordered the creek, which is a tributary of the Neches River. I was on this bridge several times, and it was dismantled mid-1960's. It was wide enough for cars to cross it, one at a time."
