Opened with much fanfare in July of 2004, this bridge was designed by world-renowned architect, Santiago Calatrava. The "slingback" inclined tower design is distinctive, but not unique, having previously been used for the Alamillo Bridge (Seville, Spain and also designed by Calatrava) and the Mariánský Bridge in Czechia.
A pipeline suspension bridge is visible from the Sundial bridge. Additional pictures taken by Eric can be found here.
