Please do not reuse without permission. This bridge was completed in 1939 with a plate-girder deck similar to other suspension bridges completed in the 1930's and early 1940's. In Eileen's second picture, you can just make out the lenticular trusses that were later installed along the plate-girder deck to provide additional stiffening.
