A large group of hikers had just come off the bridge and several reported being stung by wasps. Indeed there was a large wasp nest (not pictured) attached to the underside of the deck. I decided to avoid the drama of potentially being stung and didn't venture onto the bridge instead spending most of the time enjoying the falls with my family.
