The history of the Dryburgh Abbey suspension bridge is quite unclear between the 1818 bridge and the current bridge but this postcard appears to show the bridge before its current metal towers (likely built in 1911). Probably this is the Dryburgh bridge believed to have been reconstructed in 1872.
