The images here are photographs of an image behind glass, hence the glare and reflection. It is captioned "Morrisons Rigid Suspension Bridge. Designed and Built 1857." Built by David H. Morrison and the Columbia Bridge Works (of Dayton, Ohio) this is a rare example of an early American cable-stayed bridge. Catenary cables are visible but they do not appear to be the primary means of support.
