Dave writes: "Here of some photos of the refurbished transporter bridge. The bridge has been closed for approximately two years while it has undergone a massive overhaul. It has reopened in the last two months [early 2015]. The gondola now has much more glass and the control cab on top is now just a dummy. The controls have been moved to observation area on the northeast side of the gondola. They have also fitted an external lift to the south east tower."
Dave notes: "The lift can be seen on the righthand tower. It's painted white. The bridge can now provide for high level tours, bungy jumping and zip wire events."
