Kathy writes: "My great-great-grandfather Franklin Leonard Pope was involved in the early exploration of northern British Columbia in 1865 as part of the expedition involved with the Collins Overland Telegraph. We are in possession of his original sketch book and diary from the trip in which he has a drawing of Trutch’s Bridge on the Fraser."
