James writes: "It was built in 1934, has a main span of 80 feet, a total length of 220 feet, and crosses the Calvert Prong of the Little Warrior River. Why is this bridge unique? It is 70 feet above the water. It is the highest covered bridge above water in the United States. It was closed two weeks before I took this photograph (closed on September 27, 2007)."
