Patrick notes this bridge was the "24th of 25 stops made along the Troublesome Creek. 11 in Breathitt County, Kentucky with the remaining 14 in Perry County, Kentucky." Patrick writes: "I'm puzzled why this one is boarded up. There's a concrete one lane vehicular bridge less than 50 yards downstream, thus it's not really needed, yet the swinging/suspension bridge contains new decking and appears to be in very good shape -- best of all the ones visited along this stretch of creek in Perry County."
