Patrick notes this bridge was the "11th of 25 stops made along the Troublesome Creek. 11 in Breathitt County, Kentucky with the remaining 14 in Perry County, Kentucky." Patrick adds: "The bridge is closed and no longer in use. It supplemented a ford, but now a single lane all concrete vehicular bridge exists just upstream."
