These bridge remnants are normally underwater. This bridge originally crossed the American River, but the location has since been inundated by the Folsom Dam, creating Folsom Lake. Jerry writes: "I was out mountain biking today at Rattlesnake Bar Folsom Lake near Newcastle, and due to the very low level of Folsom Lake I was able to take the attached photos of the remains of the Rattlesnake Bar Bridge."
