Patrick writes: "All photos were shot from the west banks of the Mississippi River. The three images following the first gradually zoom in on the tower tops of the near side (Iowa) from the same spot. I was testing my zoom lens capability to see how close I can bring in the [pigeon deterring] owl. The fourth image that follows the first is a crop. There's one owl in each tower top on the Iowa side, but none within the Illinois tower tops."
