Along the Ohio River between East Liverpool and Steubenville are three suspension bridges (Newell, Market St., and Fort Steuben) and a cable-stayed bridge (at Steubenville). Completed in 1905, the Newell bridge is historically important as one of the first all-steel suspension bridges.
