Patrick sends this collection of drooping footbridges from the around Cannady, Virginia. These appear to be maintained by VDOT (Virginia Department of Transportation) like their more substantial cousins. They are stamped with the VDOT 9000-series numbering system found on suspension footbridges throughout the state. VDOT warning signs are visible in a few of these pictures. Patrick notes, "all are located along VA county road 605 (which loops off of VA state route 80) within several miles of each other. As you can tell from the images, the first two were very obscured from the roadway. The first one I slid down on my back for 10 yards upon slipping."
The first one is west of Cannady. It's the longest of the three. Patrick measured it at 126 feet.
The next one is southeast of Cannady.
The last one is at Murphy.
