This is a list of the only bridge from the suspension bridge inventory crossing Chauga River. Please note that different rivers with the same name will be grouped together. For example, selecting 'Bear Creek' shows bridges across several different Bear Creeks. Also, similarly named rivers are grouped separately.   • Douglas E. McClure writes (in 2009): "This bridge span is 175 feet and was constructed a few years ago. The earlier bridge was also a swinging bridge at the same location and type, but was washed out during heavy rains. The new bridge was raised 5 feet."
