"According to Maggie Baker, a spokesperson with PennDOT… 'After traffic is switched to the temporary bridge, the existing bridge will be carefully dismantled. The existing structural components of the bridge will be shipped to a fabricator to be cleaned and painted. Remedies for damaged components will be coordinated with the onsite cultural resource representative. Abutments will be carefully dismantled and reconstructed.'"
